In Spanish and Italian, Marea means “tide.”
At Marea Partners, we believe that when business becomes a force for good, it creates a rising tide of abundance and prosperity that lifts all boats.
Tides are cyclical. They ebb and flow.
Today’s world is largely unpredictable. Politics, social activism, emerging markets, media influence, technology, etc. are all disruptive factors whose impact must be considered and managed in order to maintain consistency and growth, regardless of the short-term prevailing winds.
Sustainable success demands the agility and ingenuity to create internal stability despite surrounding volatility.
Only from thoughtful strategy, execution, and discipline comes scalable, profitable growth that will carry social good beyond community and country to the entire planet. That's why we support those committed to doing more good by doing well.
We are strategists. We are value creators. We are believers in the transformative capabilities of business.
Our team is a collaborative group of former C-suite executives and entrepreneurs from across a broad spectrum of industries. With a range of operational and financial expertise we provide stakeholders an independent view of challenges faced. Our real-world experience allows us to seamlessly fit into the fabric of existing management teams and execute.
We partner directly with our clients with a steadfast commitment to their success. As veterans of leading management consulting firms, we found those traditional models constraining.
Our team members seek out the innovation and free thinking needed to develop robust and resilient strategies for valuable growth. The depth of our experience, uniquely combined with the flexibility of an entrepreneurial mindset, sets us apart.
The leaders of the new economy need a team aligned to maximize their impact on the world. MareaPartners is that team.
Accomplishment offers one the opportunity to positively impact the world.
Sustainable success allows one to actually change it.
Bridgit Lombard believes a social impact enterprise must excel in business in order to make a difference in the world. She founded Marea Partners to embody that philosophy: a business advisory firm that helps socially-conscious companies grow and prosper while remaining true to their beliefs. Bridgit shows Marea Partner clients how to develop systematic execution and purposeful cultures to ensure financial success, and thus achieve the greatest impact.
During her career, Lombard has served as CEO of numerous middle market companies. At The Mountain, Bridgit led an 18-month turnaround that put the firm on a trajectory to double in enterprise value . While at Penguin Brands and Nathan Sports, she created a value and growth strategy that led to a ten-fold increase in value between 2010 and 2015.
In addition to Marea Partners, Lombard founded 2 multi-national companies: Tenega Group, a consultancy focused on enterprise value growth, and Premysis Management, a SaaS platform in the commercial real estate sector. Both of these Bridgit led to successful strategic acqusitions.
Bridgit actively lives her core values throughout her business and philanthropic endeavors. She created the One World Fund, which invests specifically in mission-driven social impact enterprises. She has been a board member of Gorilla Doctors, a charity dedicated to saving wild mountain gorillas; worked with TUSK Africa to fund wildlife protection programs; and helped pioneer sustainable conservation methods in eastern Africa. Bridgit uses her experience to mentor women entrepreneurs helping shape the global movement of business as a force for social good.
